Our Story

It Started With a Beach Music Record

In 1995, a pair of speakers, a crate of vinyl and a deep love for Carolina beach music turned into a calling. What began with small-town receptions and VFW hall anniversaries grew, one packed dance floor at a time, into one of the coast's most trusted entertainment names.

Thirty years and more than 3,000+ events later, the equipment has evolved — today it's the Pioneer DDJ-FLX10, digital line arrays and intelligent lighting — but the philosophy hasn't moved an inch. Read the room. Respect the moment. Play the song that makes someone grab their spouse's hand and say "this is our song."

We've DJ'd oceanfront weddings in a stiff sea breeze, corporate galas in downtown ballrooms, and backyard oyster roasts where the dance floor was a plywood square under a live oak. Every one of them got the same preparation, the same professionalism and the same tuxedo-level respect.

Our Sound

Eight Decades, One Seamless Night

Great DJing is translation. It's knowing that "In the Mood" and a modern country hit can live twenty minutes apart if you bridge them right. It's watching the 80-year-olds at table four and the 24-year-olds at the bar — and finding the song that gets both up at once.

Our library spans the 1940s to this week's releases: big band and standards, Motown and soul, Carolina beach music and shag, classic and modern country, disco, rock, clean hip-hop and R&B, Top 40, line dances and our own live remixes and mashups blended on the fly.

You'll never hear a stale, pre-programmed set. Every night is mixed live, in the moment, for the people actually standing in front of us.
